Lx3 Tooling maintains state of the art computer equipment and CAD/CAM software.  Solidworks and Surfcam are Lx3's tools of choice for solid modeling, design and manufacturing. We can also import CAD data from most other software systems currently in use.

   

Part Design - With the advent of Solid Modeling, design jobs that once took days can now be done in hours.

Assembly Design - Solid Modeled assemblies can be generated to assure proper fit and function.

Tooling Design- Injection mold tooling is our specialty.  We can provide innovative solutions to all of your tooling needs including vacuum form tooling, pressure form tooling and composite lay up tooling.

Product Development - Let us help bring your ideas from concept to reality.  We can provide all or part of you development needs including:  Design, Material recommendations, prototyping, sourcing and manufacturing.
 

Output - For solid modeled part and assembly designs, we can provide you with photo-realistic renderings to help you see the finished product before investing in manufacturing.  Dimensioned drawings are generated automatically from the solid models for dimensional approval.  Lx3 also features E-drawings.  These are electronic drawings that combine a dimensioned print with animation.  E-drawings are sent to customers via E-mail and require no software to view.
