Manufacturing
Lx3 operates a climate controlled electronic shop. We have 5 PC workstations networked together and linked to our CNC machining and turning centers. Computer data files move from part design to tool design to tool manufacturing with paper prints seldom being utilized. The end result is improved accuracy, reduction of errors, and shorter lead times. This translates to a superior product at a reduced price. We feel that in the future, all shops will operate under these principles. Today, the electronic shop is available at Lx3.
Injection Mold Tooling - Complete in house manufacturing of superior quality tooling.
Other Tooling - We
also have extensive experience in the manufacturing of vacuum form tooling,
pressure form tooling and composite lay up tooling.
CNC Machining - With CNC Machining and turning centers, we can produce custom parts, prototypes, and small production run parts.
Outsourcing Services -
Lx3 has chosen a unique approach to capital expenditures. We feel that
adding high quality machinery that is not utilized all day, every day only adds
to company overhead and a higher priced product. Therefore, we have sought
out several companies with capabilities beyond ours that we refer to as Lx3
partners. To become an Lx3 partner a company must provide exceptional
quality work with a level of expertise and work flow that keeps cost down.
All of our partner companies operate in an electronic environment as well, and
perform operations based on files that Lx3 provides. In return, we offer
our services to our partners. Specific services that we have partnership
arrangements with include: wire EDM, CNC die sink EDM, water jet cutting, stereo
lithography and injection molding.
